CJYSA/USCL is dedicated to the soccer community it serves, and carefully restricts its activities to such as would interest and benefit that community. CJYSA/USCL does believe that avenues of communication within the soccer community are often under-developed, and that the sport benefits from greater access to, and information about events, goods and services that serve that community.
CJYSA/USCL does not and will not share contact information on coaches, managers, club officials, administrators, players, parents, referees, or any other individuals in our database to any company or institution other than those we reasonably believe that members of the soccer community would want that information shared with, or unless we are given explicit consent.
CJYSA/USCL collects information primarily through the various online registration software systems it utilizes to register teams for league participation and tournament play.
Such information may be provided to CJYSA/USCL though various channels:
Ø Information you give us directly. For example, many of our services require you to register through a GotSoccer Account. When you do, you may be providing personal information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, gender, birth date, etc. This is most often used by your team, club, association and state organization.
Ø Information others provide us about you. For example, Managers may enter player information into a Team Account for a tournament or league without your knowledge. MSSL assumes those that enter personal information into or export data from our database have the right to do so.
Information may be used:
Ø To communicate with team officials and, less frequently, with team members regarding information about the upcoming event.
Ø For showcases, to create the player profile binders printed for the benefit of evaluators in attendance at the event.
Ø To create event printouts requiring team rosters (such as game cards) for events.
Ø To generate a list of email contacts that allows MSSL to keep its participants informed about upcoming events, products and services of interest to the soccer community.
Ø Meet any applicable law, regulation, legal process or enforceable governmental request.
Ø Enforce applicable Terms of Service, including investigation of potential violations.
Ø Detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues.
Ø Protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of
CJYSA/USCL, our users or the public as required or permitted by law.
CJYSA/USCL utilizes industry-accepted measures to protect our users from unauthorized access to or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of information we hold.
Note that we encrypt many of our services using Secure Socket Layers (SSL as https:).
We restrict access to personal information to MSSL employees, contractors and agents who need access to information in order to process it.
Users providing information through online registration software leased by CJYSA/USCL, such as GotSoccer, Demosphere, etc., should also review the Information Security and Privacy Policies of those software registration companies, which is typically accessed from the company’s portal or homepage.
